Pathways for Girls’ Football
Cherrybrook FC is dedicated to creating pathways for girls’ football. A Local Councillor recently visited to celebrate the formation of 10 new girls’ teams, supported by Leisure United. Currently, 35 girls’ teams train across our two Wigan Hubs.

Wigan Angels Group
The Wigan Angels Group provides a safe space for girls to meet, share experiences, and support each other. The group meets twice a week at William Fosters and every weekend for a group walk, fostering a strong sense of community and support.

Inclusive Sessions
Weekly disability sessions are run by the Wigan Community Trust, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in football and enjoy its benefits.

Youth League Hub
Our site serves as the central venue for the Wigan Youth League, supporting the development of young talent in the region.

Successful Camps
We have successfully run HAF camps as well as internal arts and craft camps, providing engaging and enriching activities for the community.
