We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Chief Operations Officer, Thomas Galvin, who will proactively lead our operations team.
Thomas brings a wealth of experience in sports, leisure, and fitness roles. He offers strong business strategy, leadership, and hands-on operational management expertise to Leisure United.
Tom joined the team at the end of January, and he added ‘I’m delighted and honoured to join Leisure United as Chief Operations Officer and am excited by the what the future holds. I believe our hubs and people have a vital role in supporting our communities to engage with physical activity. I want our hubs to feel like a place where everyone belongs and become a destination of choice where our staff and users feel good. As we grow our ambition is to develop a network of high-quality multi-sport facilities to drive down health inequalities in all the regions we operate.’
