When will Leisure United Bullocksteads open?
Leisure United Bullocksteads is now open.
What are the opening hours?
We ar open Mon – Fri 06.30am – 10.00pm, weekends and bank holidays 08.00am – 06.00pm.
Is parking free?
Yes, we have a large floodlit car park with dedicated accessible spaces.

What gym facilities are there at LU Bullocksteads?
We have something for everyone at LU Bullocksteads, our 60 station Life Fitness gym includes
- Huge free weights zone
- Large functional rig/space
- Group training program
- Dedicated gym changing facilities
What changing facilities are there?
We have dedicated, male and female gym changing facilities with showers, lockers and vanity units including hair dryers.
Are there lockers?
Yes, our lockers are secured with padlocks, feel free to bring your own padlock or you can purchase one from the main reception desk.
What gym membership options are there?

What is a dual membership
Dual membership gives you access to both Leisure United Bullockstaeds and Leisure United Blakelaw facilities.
Will I get an induction?
Yes, we encourage all members to have an induction to familiarise themselves with the safe operating of each piece of equipment, it is not compulsory though. Please speak to the reception to arrange your booking. Alternatively call us on 0191 300 3223 to book your induction time.
Is there a joining fee?
Whilst we open the facilities to the community there will be no joining fee at this stage.
Do you have a group exercise timetable?
The group exercise timetable is coming soon to LU Bullocksteads.
What age do you need to be to join the gym?
Children aged 14 years and over can use a Leisure United gym. For younger children we will have a program of football and multi-sports clubs available. *separate terms and conditions apply
I have had a problem joining online how do I get in touch?

Will you have personal trainers?
Yes, and they will be available to book in hub to suit your needs and availability. *additional charges apply.
Do you have corporate discounts?
We offer a range of corporate discounts. Please get in touch with the hub for further information to see if you qualify.
Will refreshments be available?
Our lounge will be open to everyone (members and visitors) and will be offering a range of hot and cold food and drinks including protein shakes.
How do I access the gym on my first day?
When joining you will have received a confirmation email from Leisure United, within the email is your personalised QR code. Simply show this to gain entry to the building and or the gym. You will need access to your QR code to gain entry each time you visit the gym – so be sure to keep it safe. If you lose your QR code don’t worry the team on reception will help you.
Do you have an App?
An app will be available very soon. It will enable you to view and book group exercise classes and more!
How do I book group exercise classes?
You can book group exercise classes via the app or in person in club. You will have received an email upon joining, detailing how to access and use the app. Should you have difficulty using the app please speak to a member of the team.
Do you have a room/space I can book for a function?
Yes. Please call us on 0191 300 3223 and we will happily show you our dedicated community room for private hire and the packages/options available.
